Five Dynasties master of Jianzhou, titled Zhenji (真寂); a native of Yongzhen (朱 clan). Tonsured under Gushan Shenyan, he was the only one in the assembly to grasp his teacher's wordless gesture of opening his robe; he later moved to Fengxian.
