Tang master of Tanzhou in the Qingyuan/Shitou line. Returning from paying respects at the Sixth Patriarch's stupa at Caoxi, he met Shitou Xiqian, who asked whether the merit of Dayu Ridge was complete; Kuang said it was long complete but still lacked the dotting of the eyes. His heir was Shishi Shandao.
