A heir of Bie'an Xingtong. He took Yongshou Chan monastery in Hangzhou in 1691, swept the stupa of the patriarch Hui at Jingshan and made his bows at Caoxi. At his enthronement he offered incense to Bie'an, then living at the Zhenhai hall on Mt. Putuo.
