Shouzhi (fl. mid-11th c.) was a Northern Song Linji master, a native of Taiyuan surnamed Wang. Ordained at Chengtian temple in Luzhou, he first made his name lecturing on the Diamond Sutra — 'famous throughout the Three Rivers' — before abandoning exegesis for Chan under Fenyang Shanzhao, who confirmed him. He taught at Dayu in Gao'an and later at Cuiyan on Mt. Xi near Nanchang, whence his two names; he died in the Jiayou era and was entombed on Mt. Xi.
