Chan master of Wulei/Lingfeng monastery on Mount Wulei in Cixi, Mingzhou. A dharma heir of Muchen Daomin: he is named among the 嗣法門人 who edited Muchen's own recorded sayings (the Tiantong Hongjue Min chanshi yulu), which is about as direct as an heirship claim gets. His own 語錄 was taken down by his attendant Haicheng, and a preface was written by his 'dharma-brother of the same gate', Bing'an Zhang Lilian.
