Dongyan Kexiu was a Tang/Five-Dynasties Chan master who led an assembly at Dongyan in Yuezhou (modern Shaoxing), a dharma-heir of the great Xuefeng Yicun. Asked 'What is the road upward?' he answered without a word — simply lifting the collar of his robe and showing it.
