A dharma heir of Bie'an Xingtong. He took the seat at Jiedai monastery in Wenzhou on the fifth day of the fifth month of 1696, and also held Ciyun at Wuxi. His attendants Purun and Faquan recorded his discourse record in three fascicles; Yang Yongjian wrote the preface. Almost nothing else survives: his record is verse and dharma-talk, with no life attached.
