Faxi Yin 法璽印

School: Linji | Teacher: Zhuanyu Guanheng

A Sichuanese; dharma heir of Zhuanyu Guanheng. He held Baolian monastery on Mt. Yue in Fengxin (1651), Xiaseng monastery on Mt. Longmen in Jing'an (1653), Tong'an monastery on Mt. Fengqi in Jianchang, Nankang — which he opened in the winter of 1662 and which was rebuilt splendidly under him — then Qinghua monastery in the south city of Beijing (1672). In 1674 he lodged at Tianning in Jiaxing to cut the blocks of his teacher's recorded sayings, and in 1676 took Lengyan monastery. Twelve fascicles of his recorded sayings survive, plus two from Lengyan.
