Yuanlian of Guanghui cloister in Ruzhou (951–1036), a native of Quanzhou surnamed Chen and a dharma-heir of Shoushan Xingnian in the Linji line. Seven heirs are recorded under him, including Huayan Daolong and the eminent statesman-poet Yang Yi, who called on him while governing Ruzhou and inherited his dharma as a layman.
