Zhengyou, styled Gumei (1285–1352), a dharma-heir of Juexue Shicheng of the Prajñā monastery in the Linji-Yangqi line. After some thirty years wandering the Jiang-Huai region he entered Fujian and in 1324 opened Dajue Miaozhi on Mount Gaoyang under an imperial plaque; his instruction on sustaining doubt in huatou practice was anthologized in the Changuan cejin, and his recorded sayings survive.
