Of Chengdu, surname Hu. Abbot of Danxia, and of Xiangyan monastery in Dengzhou. At his enthronements he offered incense six separate times to his late master Dangshan Yuan of Xiangyan, calling himself the thirty-second generation in the orthodox Linji transmission.
