Shanjian, styled Guting, born 1414 in Kunming, a dharma-heir of Wuji Mingwu of Daolin monastery in Puzhou in the Linji-Yangqi line. He headed monasteries from Nanjing's Tianjie to Mount Fu in Anhui and left the 古庭禪師語錄輯略 along with the 山雲水石集 and 華嚴大意; he died in 1493.
