School: Korean Seon | 826-830 | Teacher: Xitang Zhizang
Early Silla monk who studied under Xitang Zhizang in Tang China and returned to establish the Silsangsan school, one of the Nine Mountain Schools of Korean Seon. His transmission is attested in Korean stele inscriptions and the Zutangji.
