Of Huai'an circuit. Abbot of Jingshan in Hangzhou, twenty-second generation below Huineng. In 1284 Khubilai asked after masters of Southern Chan; the Right Chancellor Harghasun put his name forward, and he presented a verse arguing against the taking of life, which the emperor accepted with approval, receiving the precepts from him. His heirs include Nanchu Shiyue and Yuejiang Zhengyin.
