Faquan of Jiangshan in Jinling, titled Fohui and surnamed Shi of Suizhou, a dharma-heir of Yunju Xiaoshun in the Yunmen school. A prodigious reader nicknamed 'Quan of the Ten Thousand Scrolls', he headed five monasteries before being summoned to Zhihai cloister at the Great Xiangguo monastery, and left three heirs and a verse commentary on the Song of Enlightenment.
