The actual subject of the 道影讚 (portrait encomium) whose lay signatory 鄭溥元 was mistakenly recorded as the batch record (see Zheng Puyuan / 鄭溥元 above, _b:6). 即非如一, a Fujian (Fuqing) native, ordained under 西來灝 at Longshan, studied further under 石雨(明方) and 朝宗(通忍), took full ordination and dharma-transmission under 隱元隆琦 (Yinyuan Longqi) at Huangbo, and held the seat at 廣壽/雪峰崇聖. In 1657 he crossed to Nagasaki at Yinyuan's invitation and taught at 聖壽山/崇福寺, becoming a founding figure of Japan's Ōbaku lineage there. Author of 《即非禪師全錄》 20 fasc.
