A SEPARATE MAN from Wuwen Mingcong — this is the answer to the question. A genuine dharma-heir of Tianqi Benrui, whom Zhikai locates at GUANTAO 館陶 (the 闢妄救 instead seats him at Longquan si, Guanziling, Suizhou, which Zhikai disputes because that seat belongs to Guangze Wuwen). He is NOT the teacher of Xiaoyan Debao. The 禪燈世譜 filed Xiaoyan under him, and later compilers welded the two Congs into one person; DILA still does (A004731). Zhikai states the distinction three separate times and puts the resulting absurdity in one line: 「天奇有二子．可也。笑巖有二父．可乎」 — Tianqi may have two SONS; may Xiaoyan have two FATHERS?
