From Zhongzhou (surname Yang), he had his opening on the 'ten thousand dharmas return to one' and went to Wanfeng; he was sealed by Minshu Ruxiang, travelled everywhere, and returned to the gorges to inherit Minshu's dharma in the line of the old man Poshan. He held Sansheng at Neijiang and then went north, being installed by the Prince of Shuncheng at the Zhenru cloister by the White Pagoda. In 1683 he returned to Sichuan to sweep his teacher's stupa at Wanxian. He was still alive at seventy-nine, on pilgrimage to Putuo.
