Liangfeng Kong, style Tui'an 退庵空

Students: Yinshan Can

No DILA authority record exists for him under any spelling tried (退庵空, 涼峰空, 凉峰). He survives only via mentions in his student Yinshan Can's (隱山璨) own record and yulu heading. Yinshan Can (Southern Song, Quanzhou, DILA A018328) is described as having 'succeeded to Liangfeng Kong, styled Tui'an — this Tui'an being his [dharma-]grandfather' (嗣涼峰空退庵,此庵乃其大父云), an unusual phrasing suggesting a generation-skip in the formal succession. A bibliographic catalog entry independently corroborates the relation with the same 嗣 verb.
