A Yuan-dynasty Linji master, dharma heir of DONGYAN JINGRI (1221-1308), and the eighteenth-generation descendant of Linji. He was abbot of Baosheng at Qingyuan from 1299, of Dingshui Chan monastery from 1313, and of TIANTONG from 1329. He died in 1357. His recorded sayings were compiled by ten of his dharma heirs, among them Zhenru Wenqi and Wuzuo Wenshu; the preface is by Xingzhong Zhiren.
