Linji master, dharma heir of Poshan Haiming, abbot of Huayan and Bao'en. His incense-offering recalls that he 'got it in the ranks of war' (兵戈隊裏得來) — he came to the dharma through the Ming–Qing collapse. He died in 1701 aged seventy-three, leaving an unusually large number of heirs, more than thirty of whom the lamps name.
