An heir of Fogu Xingwen, whose recorded sayings he edited. He succeeded his own teacher in the two seats the latter had founded — Caoxi at Pinghu in Jiaxing (from 1681) and Xianglin at Taicang near Suzhou (from 1682). His own record in two fascicles was compiled by his heir Mingsong. His dates are not recorded.
