Chan master of the Stone Pagoda (Shita) monastery in Yangzhou, a dharma heir of Mingzhao Wenhui of Wuyi, Jinhua, in the Linji line, 南嶽下十五世. Asked whether mountains, rivers and the earth are the same as oneself or different, he answered: 'The cool moon over the long pavilion spreads itself out mostly for travellers.'
