Yuan dynasty Linji Chan master, dharma heir of Gaofeng Yuanmiao. Significant for Korean Seon history as the Chinese teacher who transmitted to both Taego Bou and Baegun Gyeonghan, linking Korean Seon to mainstream Chinese Linji lineage. Also received teaching from Ji'an Zongxin, a dharma brother of Gaofeng.
