A Southern Song Linji monk and heir of Songyuan Chongyue, twentieth generation from Huineng. He taught at Jianfu in Poyang and then held the Huazang Chan monastery at Changzhou (the Baozhong Xianbao Huazang), later moving to Fuyan and Huazang. It was at Jianfu that Xuzhou Pudu came to him and took his dharma. Only a handful of his sermons survive; his dates are not recorded.
