Chan master of Wufeng in Yuezhou, a dharma heir of Fayun Shanben in the Yunmen line, 南嶽下十三世. Asked for instruction he said 'A thousand blossoms open in beauty'; told the student still did not understand, 'After rain, ten thousand mountains are green.'
