Song-dynasty Chan master who taught at Boshan in Xinzhou (信州博山). The Wudeng quanshu lists him among the dharma heirs of Huanglong (Lingyuan) Weiqing, placing him in the Huanglong branch of the Linji school alongside Changling Shouzhuo. Known from a New Year's Day sermon on the verse 'the wooden man divines an auspicious omen; at midnight the tortoise-trigram is revealed'.
