Song monk of Shu (Sichuan). Left home, went to Suizhou Shuangquan Mountain, became dharma heir of Shikuan Chanshi (a third-generation descendant of Yunmen Wenyan). Later dwelt at Wuzu Mountain in Qizhou; late in life retired to Dayu, where he died leaning on his staff.
