Xianglin Benzhen 象林本真

Of Suizhou, Qiu clan; born 1620. Abbot of Baiyun monastery at Qizhou, where he is styled Xianglin. A dharma heir of Tieguan Xingneng. His recorded sayings, the Baiyun Xianglin Benzhen chanshi yulu, contain his 行實, which records that he died sitting cross-legged in the summer of 1691, aged 72.
