A NUN. Chief disciple of the nun-master Qiyuan Xinggang at the Fushi (Crouching Lion) convent in Jiaxing, and named among her dharma heirs in the account of her death. Qiyuan was a Jiaxing woman of the Hu clan, widowed young, who kept her chastity, left her household for the dharma, and drew a following 'like clouds'; both women left recorded sayings. Yikui Chaochen succeeded her at Fushi — a nun-to-nun transmission, which is what makes her worth the chart.
