One of the 104 dharma-heirs named on Haizhou Yongci's 行實碑 at Yishan si. He belongs to the DONGMING branch (Wanfeng - Baozang Puchi - Dongming Huichan - Haizhou Yongci - Yunxi Zhiying), not to the Wanfeng-direct branch. He is a dharma-brother of Zhixuan (「瑛與寶峯瑄為昆季」). His heir Jing'an Zhisu wrote the 聯芳圖 that preserves this line. The 禪燈世譜 wrongly filed him and Jing'an Su under PUCI — Zhikai's 'error three': 「以永慈法嗣．混收為普慈一人之嗣」.
