Linji master, a man of Nankang; dharma heir of Xuzhou Pudu. He was abbot of Lingyin in the early Yuan, was summoned to an imperial audience, and was granted the title Foguang Haiyin dashi ('Great Master Buddha-Light Ocean-Seal') on returning. His verses are said to have come out of his mouth already finished, as though composed beforehand. He compiled his master's recorded sayings. His heir was Tanfang Shouzhong of Jiangshan (Longxiang), through whom the line continues.
