Dharma heir of Xiuye Minglin, and thus the fourth in the Sichuan line Dangshan Yuan → Qiran Chaozhi → Xiuye Minglin → Zhitan Zuizheng. He was resident at the Huanglong hall on Mt Baizhang, Xiangyang, which his master had taken over in 1680. His recorded sayings survive in one juan, taken down by Shangneng and Shangying.
