School: Early Chan | 609-702 | Teacher: Hongren | Students: Zizhou Chuji
Student of the Fifth Patriarch Hongren. Settled in Zizhou, Sichuan. Empress Wu Zetian gave him a patriarchal robe. Died in seated meditation at age 94. Transmitted to Chuji.
